From human biology to human systems.
Dmitry Shamenkov is a psychologist, physician, public health researcher and entrepreneur whose work asks how people and groups regain connection, self-regulation and the capacity to act.

The thread across Dmitry's work is not a profession or product. It is a view of the human being as a living, goal-directed system shaped by relationships and feedback.
With university degrees in medicine and psychology, Dmitry graduated from medical university with honours. His scientific formation is rooted in the Anokhin–Sudakov school of systems psychophysiology and includes work as a research fellow at the P.K. Anokhin Research Institute of Normal Physiology.
His career spans psychology, medicine, biotechnology, health technology and innovation. His scientific and entrepreneurial work includes printed publications, patents and registered software products.
Over time, the focus expanded from biological systems to the conditions that support human functioning: honest dialogue, self-regulation, social connection, meaningful goals and coordinated action.
This led to long-term work with groups and facilitators, the development of Functional Systems Facilitation, and the creation of Opendialogue.space — an AI-supported peer-to-peer digital mental health platform.
A career across research, technology and human practice.
Science, entrepreneurship and contemplative practice.
The combination matters because no single lens is sufficient for a living human system.

- Practice
Years of group work, facilitator development and dialogue-based educational environments.
- Contemplation

A human system cannot be reduced to its most visible symptom.
State, purpose, relationships, communication, action and feedback form one functional chain. Sustainable change requires attention to the chain and to the conditions around it.
